Established in January, 1966, George J. Kontogiannis and Associates is recognized as a major design firm for large scale medium to high-end residential, commercial, religious, congregate care, nursing home, and other medical facility architecture. Our firm is registered in eleven states, is NCARB certified, and has structures located throughout the United States, including our home state of Ohio as well as Arizona, Florida,Indiana, Georgia, Kentucky, Maryland,Massachusetts, Michigan, North Carolina,Pennsylvania, Tennessee, and West Virginia. Since its inception our architectural practice has designed, prepared working drawings and specifications for, and inspected more than ten thousand units of residential construction.These encompass high rise apartment buildings, (four to thirteen stories) of precast concrete and steel, mid-rise (three story) structures with wood truss and wood wall construction, and low rise residential projects utilizing traditional wood joist and wood wall building techniques.
